Onyx Storm Midnight Release Party (The Details)

Pickup & Purchase Details:

We will close from 7 to 9:30 to prepare. During that time, folks who did not pre-order are welcome to line up on a first come first serve basis to purchase one of the remaining deluxe editions (one per customer). We will have copies for the first 10 people in line. Your place in line will be denoted by a ticket.

We will have plenty of standard editions available for purchase, if that's more your jam.

People who *did* preorder will also receive a separate line ticket assigning them their number in line for pickup at 12:01. 

Once folks are lined up and ready for pickup at the end of the evening, we will do a drawing for some secret prizes based on your ticket number.

DON’T LOSE YOUR LINE TICKET PLZ AND THANK YOU. If you do, that’s okay! you’ll just have to get a new one and head to the back of the line hanging your head in shame. 

Food & Drink Details:

As a reminder, Rogers is an entertainment district and drinks can be purchased from any of the local bars and brought in. We will also have a limited amount of free wine/beer for party goers to enjoy.

We will also have themed, tasty treats available for purchase from some of our small business/baker friends. More to be announced on that soon!

The Fun Party Details:

We're not going to lie when we say that Courtney and Halli have gone a bit feral in the planning of this party. We will have lots of surprised, but here's what you can expect for sure:

Costume Contest:

We want to see you dressed in your flight leathers, themed costumes, and Basgiath War College best. The best dressed will be entered to win a variety of Fourth Wing prizes!

Dragons and Shadow Daddys:

We will be bringing out a special round of blind dates specifically for this party and this party alone. Use these to find your dragon–may you be deemed worthy and survive the threshing–or find a new Shadow Daddy to cure your post-Onyx Storm hangover.

Trivia and Games:

We will have a variety of other fun games spread around the shop for you to play with friends and other party attendees~

Timing & Itinerary: 

9:00 - Doors open and door prizes are given out and costume contest entry begins
9:00 - 11:00 - Shop, drink, party, games
11:00 - Costume contest entry closes
11:00 - 11:20 - Costume contest winners are announced
11:30 - Line begins for an orderly midnight handout
12:01 - We will run through the line as quick as possible to hand out all the books
