About Underbrush Books

Underbrush Books started as a community book club in March 2020. In the years since, we have grown to a full independent bookstore in Downtown Rogers, Arkansas. Though we carry (and read) all types of books, we're particularly passionate about genre-fiction and queer literature.

True to our book club roots, our staff loves to talk about books. We currently host 7 different book clubs each month, so catch us hanging out with our community of readers almost any given night of the week.

  • Courtney | Co-Owner

    Fantasy & romantasy reader, but will read anything if the atmosphere is right. Believes all vampires should be sapphic. Chronically online. Cries a lot.

  • Dom | Co-Owner

    Loves middle grade books & award winning literary fiction. Will wait until the audiobook comes out. Obsessed with ships. Lego city planner.

  • Shelby | Operations Manager

    Rare non-fiction reader, but also loves fantasy. Literal farmer. Listens to audiobooks while driving a tractor. Ask her about corpse flowers.

  • Liz | Social Media Manager

    Reads everything from rom-coms to horror. Owns one of those giant skeletons. Most likely to be in the store when she's not working. "Wait, put that on the story!"

  • Halli | Bookseller

    Resident romance girlie & book club princess. Saves everything for her junk journal. Needs a little treat. Former musical theater kid. Certified yapper.

    Horror, literary fiction, and queer romance reader. Always brings a baked good. Collects library cards. Vanilla latte drinker. Favorite book is Anne of Green Gables.
