Retreat Giveaway Terms & Conditions

1. HOW TO ENTER

During the Giveaway Period, eligible individuals may enter by completing any ONE (1) of the following methods:

1. Social Media Entry: Follow Sponsor’s designated social media account – @underbrushbooks (Instagram), @underbrushbookstore (TikTok), and Underbrush Books (Facebook) – and leave a comment on the official Giveaway post.
2. Video Entry: Create and publish a short social media video describing the books you would bring to the Underbrush Reading Retreat if selected as the winner. The post must tag Sponsor's designated social media account and include the hashtag #giveaway. 

Limit two (2) entries per person. Any attempt to obtain additional entries through multiple social media accounts, identities, automated means, or any other method designed to circumvent these Official Rules may result in disqualification.

Entries must comply with all applicable platform rules and these Official Rules. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is incomplete, fraudulent, offensive, unlawful, or otherwise inconsistent with the spirit of the Giveaway.

By entering the Giveaway, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all matters relating to the Giveaway.

2. SPONSOR

This giveaway (the “Giveaway”) is sponsored by Underbrush Books (“Sponsor”), located at 103 W Walnut Street, Rogers, Arkansas 72756. This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or Meta.

3. ELIGABILITY

Because the Underbrush Reading Retreat is an adults-only event, all entrants and the winner must be at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry.

4. GIVEAWAY PERIOD

The Giveaway begins at ___________ a.m./p.m. CST on _____________, 2026, and ends at ___________ a.m./p.m. CST on _____________, 2026 (the “Giveaway Period”). Entries received after the Giveaway Period will not be considered.

5. PRIZE

One (1) winner will receive one (1) admission ticket to the Underbrush Books Reading Retreat at The Ozarker Lodge in Branson, Missouri, scheduled for August 20-23, 2026. Approximate Retail Value: $950.00.

The retreat package includes three (3) nights lodging, food and beverages included as part of the retreat package; and retreat activities and programming provided by Sponsor.

THE PRIZE DOES NOT INCLUDE TRANSPORTATION TO OR FROM BRANSON, MISSOURI.

The winner is solely responsible for all transportation costs, fuel costs, airfare, baggage fees, rideshare expenses, parking fees, incidental expenses, personal purchases, and all other costs not expressly included in the prize description.

No substitution, transfer, assignment, or cash redemption of the prize is permitted except at Sponsor's sole discretion.

6. ODDS OF WINNING

Odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received.

7. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

One (1) winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period.

The drawing will occur on or about ____________, 2026.

The potential winner will be notified via direct message, email, or other contact information associated with the entry.

The potential winner must respond and claim the prize within seventy-two (72) hours after Sponsor's first notification attempt.

If the potential winner: (a) cannot be contacted; (b) fails to respond within seventy-two (72) hours; (c) is determined to be ineligible; or (d) otherwise fails to comply with these Official Rules, Sponsor may disqualify the potential winner and select an alternate winner.

8. PUBLICITY RELEASE

Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes the winner's consent for Sponsor to use the winner's name, city and state of residence, likeness, photograph, voice, social media handle, and biographical information for promotional and advertising purposes in any media now known or later developed, worldwide and in perpetuity, without further compensation or notice.

9. SOCIAL MEDIA DISCLOSURES

If Sponsor requires entrants to post content on social media as part of the Giveaway, entrants must clearly disclose that the content is associated with the Giveaway by including a disclosure such as #giveaway.

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify entries that fail to comply with applicable disclosure requirements.

10. RELEASE OF LIABILITY

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, The Ozarker Lodge, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of or relating to participation in the Giveaway or acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of any prize.

11. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

The prize is awarded “AS IS” without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
Sponsor makes no representations or warranties regarding the quality, condition, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or availability of the prize.

12. TECHNICAL ISSUES

Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, stolen, misdirected, undelivered, or garbled entries or communications, or for any technical failures, interruptions, or malfunctions of websites, platforms, servers, networks, hardware, or software. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the Giveaway.

13. GOVERNING LAW

These Official Rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arkansas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Giveaway shall be brought exclusively in a state or federal court located in Arkansas, and entrants consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

Winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with acceptance and use of the prize. Sponsor may issue any tax forms required by applicable law.
