The Last Queen of Faerie by Serra Swift

Crown of iron upon your head
Or else the Fae will kill you dead

Many years ago, Ria tricked the King of Faerie and made an impossible bargain to save her sister’s life. But when it came time to make their trade, the King failed to show, let alone uphold his end of the deal. Ria returned home and began raising her daughter to learn the ways of witchcraft—and to always wear iron to protect herself in the forest where the boundaries between the mortal world and Faerie are thin.

But now, the King has finally come to collect what he is owed: Ria’s firstborn child.

When she first took the fae king’s bargain, Ria was a terrified young girl, desperate to rescue her sister. Now she’s older, wiser, and scariest of all: a mother who’s been separated from her daughter.

And she’ll do anything to get her back.
